پنجشنبه گذشته مصادف با هشت جولای 2009 گزارشهای از نا پدید شدن یک کشتی حامل 74 مهاجر افغان در آب های طوفانی و متلاطم بین اندونیزیا و استرالیا منتشر شد. وزیر خارجه استرالیا یک بار به خبرنگاران گفت که این مهاجران افغان در سواحل یکی از جزایر اندونیزیا به دست نیروهای دریایی اندونیزیا افتاده اند و سالم هستند، اما یک روز بعدتر مقامات استرالیایی گفتند که هنوز از سرنوشت کشتی حامل مهاجران افغان که قبلا از سوی نیروهای دریایی آن کشور در آب های بین دو کشور استرالیا و اندونیزیا دیده شده بود، خبری نیست و به احتمال قوی این کشتی غرق شده است.
خدا کند که خبر غرق شدن این کشتی مهاجران بی چاره افغان درست نباشد. این اولین بار نیست که آب های متلاطم و بی رحم دریای بین اندونیزیا و استرالیا کشتی مهاجران بی کس و بی پناه افغان را درهم می شکند و مسافران بی دیار آن را طعمه نهنگ های این دریا میکند، پیش از این نیز ماجراهای پر غم و اندوه از این نوع اتفاق افتاده است. اکنون چند روزی است که از سرنوشت این کشتی خبری دردست نیست، و احتمال گم شدن سرنشینان ان در آب های بی سر و پای بحر بین اندونیزیا و استرالیا، بیشتر می گردد، کسی، سازمانی و حکومتی نیز نیست که در پی جستجوی این آواره ها بر آید. اگر 74 افغان در دریا غرق می شوند، و دولت این کشور حتی بخود زحمت گپ زدن در باره این قضیه را نمی دهد، تعجب نکنید، زیرا داستان های تلخ تر از این نیز در صفحات تاریخ این کشور درج است.

Candidates of presidential election or any other election, normally introduce their aims and programs during the election campaigning. They tell their planning and programs for the country. According the international norms and rules, the best candidate of election is the one who has the best and most comprehensive and practical programs for the progress, betterment, and improvement of the country. For example, in Afghanistan the best candidate for presidential election should be the one who really have effective, logical and practical programs for ending the war and security problem in this country, he or she should have the best programs for economical, political, social, and cultural progress of Afghanistan. He/she must be having practical programs for provision of educational opportunity, and health facility for the people. The best nominee of presidential election in Afghanistan is the one who has practical program and solution for solving the security issue, the top and the most important issue in Afghanistan.

But unfortunately none of the candidates of presidential election in Afghanistan have introduced a practical, precise and comprehensive solution to the war against Taliban or terrorism. Mr. Hamid Karzai is repeating the words and speeches of his past days. The most important slogan of president Karzai is, Afghanistan for all Afghans. This slogan is not as glittering and attractive as it was in the past, the people of Afghanistan have got aware and they have woken up, the chance of going power into hand of a special ethnic, is too little here now. I have to write with regret that some of other candidates are also shouting slogans of the same theme. Most of them are just criticizing the way Mr. Karzai has ruled during the past years.

Mr. Bashar Dost a westerned-educated member of parliament, outspoken and technocrat who also has nominated himself for this election, is the only candidate with detailed political, social and economical programs for the country, but he has failed to give a precise solution for ending the bloody conflict of the country. Some of the politicians accuse him of arbitrary, abstract and autocratic ideas and thoughts that they think is not feasible to be taken into practice. However most of the commoners and educated class among the residents of capital believe that Mr. Bashar Dost is the most honest man among the candidates. They say, Bashar Dost is the only nominee who is not about to get wealth in the name and shade of election.

Whatever has been done in the political deal of Mr. Karzai with former Jehadi leader has disappointed most of the common people and elites in Afghanistan. He has been reported to have promised ministries and high official posts of next government to his new and former allies. People of Afghanistan say that all decision, deals and election campaigning of the candidates must be in accordance with principals of national interest not private benefit of persons. Mr. Karzai as mostly thought to be the winner of coming election should not forget his pledges to people of Afghanistan. Whoever wins the race from candidates should not forget that he/she is the president of Afghanistan not the president of a particular group, ethnic, or political party. He must be looking deeply into matters and control his ministers from nepotism, corruption, and negligence.
Afghanistan is a country which needs extraordinary attention, devotion and sacrifice. It needs not to be looted and ignored again; it must be repaired, reconstructed, rebuilt and treated with affection and passion. The people here have suffered very much and they need a leader to serve them.
Some of the candidates giving promises that seem really impractical and people are sure that at least for now those promises are impossible to take place. Dr. Abdullah is speaking from system change, while mostly the people believe that current system is democratic, modern and Islamic. Rulers should change their behavior, policies and actions. Some are talking to remove bribe, corruption, and nepotism, while they themselves are reported to be resigning from presidential nomination in favor of other candidate for getting money. Some of the printed media in Kabul are extravagantly praising some of the candidates and propagating against rival nominees in most brazen and shameful way.

The ongoing operation of Afghan and American forces against Taliban insurgents in Hilmand province in southern Afghanistan is indeed very important and effective for the improvement of security and stability in the country. If this kind of operation had been done during the past years against Taliban insurgents and foreign terrorists in southern and south eastern areas of Afghanistan, the situation would have been much better now.
Military operation against the Taliban insurgents in Afghanistan is certainly the most effective way for eradication of insurgency and restoration of peace and stability here. It is right that with starting construction, economical and social activities, insurgency and fights will decrease but surely it will not be completely ended. Poverty is not the sole reason and incentive for the battle in Afghanistan. Here are thousands of religious students who have been taught and trained in seminaries of the tribal areas in both side of the Durand line. Those who have built these seminaries or Madrasas and finance them have vicious and dangerous dreams for Afghanistan. They will not desist from efforts to destabilize Afghanistan unless they are crashed to death.
Military operation against Taliban, bombardment of their hideouts inside and outside Afghanistan certainly leads to their fall and defeat. They have not that power to resist against the attacks of coalition forces.
Most of the Afghans question the intention of international forces in this country. Because they believe that Taliban whose number maximum will not be more than twenty thousand across Afghanistan are certainly unable to fight with national and international troops whose numbers reach more than two hundred thousands. National and international forces have sophisticated and modern weaponries and equipments while Talibans don’t have these things. People in Afghanistan are asking who these Talibans are that have frightened the world and the government of Afghanistan is frustrated and week against them.
Coalition forces led by American troops should prove that they have here to support democracy, rule of law, peace, stability and justice. They are here to fight the dark and narrow minded Taliban who had taken this country to stone century, who are opposing the civilization, moderation and development of human. Taliban are not threat to peace and stability only in Afghanistan, they are rather the enemies of international progress and peace. Americans should not forget that people like Taliban attacked the world trade center; they are those barbaric existents who behead the innocent people, burning the schools and doing the works that is not befitting for a human.

An old, white bearded and turbaned man, who thinks that the chairmanship of senate in Afghanistan is his incontrovertible and certain right, has been inspired to ask the people of Afghanistan to give their votes to Hamid Karzai in coming presidential election !!!!
This man, who has been doubted to be mentally ok or not, has claimed to be enjoying with power of prophecy and gets inspiration from Allah. He has considered the people of Afghanistan as foolish as his statement on being inspired by Almighty Allah. Unfortunately he doesn’t have any one to wake him up, shake his mind and tell him not to say nonsense. The most unfortunate thing is that here are some ones in Afghanistan who believe the ridiculous and funny jokes of this antique minded man. He as a religious leader violated the sanctity and reverence that people have for religious society in this country.
This is time for him to retire from political, social and religious post as it is possible every moment that he makes mistake. People of Afghanistan who are now able to understand the deceit, trickery and fraud of false leader, will never accept shameful lies of men like this elderly man. What I have written doesn’t mean to oppose Mr. Karzai. It is just to tell that the people of Afghanistan categorically reject this kind of ideas and they believe that it is one of lies of Mr. Mojaddadi the chairman of senate in this country. Mulla Omar also has told Taliban to fight and be killed because he guarantees they would go to paradise. The suicide attackers blow themselves and kill innocent people because they are preached and assured that by doing so, they will go to paradise. However, what Mr. Mojaddadi has said is not new in Afghanistan. Five years back another Mullah, syed Mohammad Ali Jawid also had dreamed the success of Karzai in previous election. Though Mr. Karzai won the election but people are sure that these men who dream or get inspiration are Mulla Nasruddins of Afghan society. They are out of date and their ideas of are out of use, they are just making themselves laughing stock. They will never succeed in their heinous aims and claims.

The recent incidents, which took place in Iran after presidential election, are unprecedented in three decades of history of Islamic Republic of Iran. Government sources in Iran say that more than eighty percent of those eligible for voting attended this election and more than sixty percent of them voted for Mr. Ahmadi Nejad. If true, it is the biggest turnout after the referendum for Islamic Republic, held at the beginning days of Islamic Revolution in Iran. But two other candidates of presidential election Mr. Mosawi and Mr. Karobi rejected the result and accused the election commission of fraud and cheating.
They called their supporters to rally in streets of Tehran and protest against the fraud and cheating of election commission. According to reports from Iran, demonstration and rallies are being held in different cities of this country and several people have been killed in clashes with security men so far. Supreme leader of Islamic Republic of Iran in a speech on Friday 19th June, warned the opponents of president Ahmadi Nejad to stop protests otherwise they will be responsible for what will happen next. Several people are reportedly killed by police in Tehran one day after the warning of leader of Iran.
Analysts believe that Iranians have been under pressure since the hard line system of Islamic Republic came into being in this country three decades ago. They lost freedom of speech, belief, and the women were forced to wear Islamic Hijab. The people of Iran faced restriction in many other areas like cinema, television and radio broadcasts. Singers were stopped from singing and those who affiliated with cinemas were also instructed to work in the framework of Islamic Republic.
According to ideas of several analysts across the world, Iranians are tired with current situation and they really ask for regime change. They are not agreed with hard line foreign policies of their government and they have criticized on economical policies too. Iranian people especially the youths want to live like other youths across the world and they don’t want to be forced by police how to wear and what not to wear. Though the system of Islamic Republic has done great services for the country and people of Iran, but it is better not to pressurize the people in their personal life. It would be in benefit of Islamic Republic to soften its policies against the west and not spend the national wealth of Iran for supporting some political and militant organization in the region. It is believed that this country can’t be prosperous, developed, and happy unless it changes some of its policies especially on issues of Middle East.
However, the recent occurrences in Iran, need be to be handled very carefully, otherwise the consequences would be horrible and unpleasant for the Islamic Republic and as well as for the people of this country. Western country who have long been opposing Iranian rule, are not sparing the chances to destabilize this country so that change the regime there. Leaders of Islamic Republic, who think they have great responsibility to save revolutionary values, should think about the wishes and aspiration of their people too. Participation of hundreds of thousand people in recent rallies in the capital shows the sensitivity of the situation. It seems that Islamic Republic has reached at a critical stage after thirty years of its life.

انتخابات ریاست جمهوری و شورای های ولایتی در حالی از راه میرسند، که پیش از این در هفت سال اخیر گذشته، سه انتخابات ریاست جمهوری، ولسی جرگه و شوراهای ولایتی براي اولين بار در تاريخ کشور برگزار شده است. برگزاری انتخابات برای تعیین رئیس جمهور، اعضای پارلمان و شوراهای ولایتی، حق اساسی مردم است که پس از سقوط رژیم طالبان زمینه آن در افغانستان فراهم شده است. بدون تردید، مردم افغانستان بهترین فرصت را برای تعیین سرنوشت سیاسی این کشور که در آن اقوام مختلف زندگی میکنند، بدست آورده اند.
شرکت در انتخابات و اینکه ما نباید به هیچ بهانه ای از شرکت در پای صندوق های رای خودداری نمائیم، از مهم ترین رسالت ملی و اسلامی افغانهااست. ثانیا اینکه ما نباید مسائل قومی، حزبی، نژادی و مذهبی را در انتخاب رئیس جمهور و همچنین اعضای شوراهای ولایتی در نظر بگیریم. شرکت در انتخابات به هدف انتخاب صادق ترین و متعهدترین نامزد ریاست جمهوری و همچنین اعضای شوراهای ولایتی، وجیبه ملی است که هر افغان قطع نظر از وابستگی های قومی و مذهبی باید آن را انجام دهد. هرچند متاسفانه جهت گیری های قومی، حزبی و سمتی همچنان در کشور ما وجود دارد، اما افغانها با درک موقعیت حساس این کشور و در نظر گرفتن مسئولیت ملی و اسلامی خود، می توانند به وحدت ملی به معنای واقعی آن دست یابند. رای دادن به نامزد وطن پرست، صادق، متعهد و دلسوز به افغانستان بدون در نظر گرفتن مسائل و تعلق قومی، حزبی، سمتی و مذهبی یکی از بهترین و موثرترین راههای رسیدن به وحدت ملی است.
فرصتی که در سالهای اخیر با حمایت جامعه جهانی در کشور بوجود آمده است را نباید از دست دهیم. دوران سياه و خفقان حاكميت مستبد طالبان كه در آن از دموكراسي، آزادي هاي فردي و اجتماعي خبري نبود، نبايد از ياد ببريم. ما نبايد فراموش كنيم كه در آن زمان تصور برگزاري انتخابات وجود نداشت، حتي در دوره هاي قبل از طالبان، فرصتي كه فعلا وجود دارد، در افغانستان نبود. چنانچه پروسه برگزاری انتخابات ریاست جمهوری و شوراهای ولایتی بخوبی و با موفقیت انجام شود، بدون تردید زمینه برای برگزاری انتخابات برای تعیین مقام های دیگر از جمله شاروال ها و والی ها نیز کم کم مساعد خواهد شد. در نتیجه و با مرور زمان، زمینه برای تعیین حکومت واقعا مردمی و دموکراتیک فراهم خواهد شد. شکی نیست که سه انتخابات گذشته کاستی های داشته است و انتخاباتي که قرار است چند ماه بعد برگزار شود، نیز بدون نقص و عیب نخواهد بود، اما تکرار این امر مهم و همکاری مردم با آن، به تدریج باعث خواهد شد که پایه های دموکراسی و قانون در کشور تحکیم شود. تجارب کشورهای پیشرفته که نا بسامانی های سیاسی شبیه افغانستان را پشت سر گذاشته اند، نیز نشان میدهد که نظام حکومتی و سیاسی آنها پس از سالها مشق و تمرین اصول و روش های دموکراسی، به مرحله ثبات و استحکام رسیده اند. ما نباید از کاستی های دولت کنونی که شمار آن کم نیست، نا امید شویم. افغانستان از جمله کشورهای است که متاسفانه بیشترین جنگ و درگیری های داخلی را تجربه کرده است که در نتیجه شیرازه اقتصاد، سیاست، وحدت ملی، اخوت اسلامی و غیره در این کشور از هم پاشیده است.
بازسازی این کشور در زمینه های مختلف، به اراده قوی مردم این کشور، و عزم راسخ ملی بستگی دارد، ما با استفاده از حضور و همکاری های جامعه بین المللی، بیشترین تلاشها را برای تامین ثبات، آبادی و ساختن افغانستان در زمینه های مختلف، بايد به خرچ دهیم.
انتخابات بارزترين اصل دموكراتيك و نقطه ثقل حضور مردم در تعيين سرنوشت سياسي آنها به شمار مي آيد. برگزاري انتخابات به معناي احترام گذاشتن به اراده و راي مردم است. درافغانستان كه حاكميت هاي استبدادي، ظالم، متعصب و كور وجود داشته، فرصت كنوني و جو حاكم ولو با نقص و عيب، حياتي و بسيار مهم است.

Several books on history, literature and religion were thrown in river in the Nimroz Province of Afghanistan by the order of local officials. Provincial officials have announced that the books were religiously divisive and disputed and the ministry of information and culture has declared them illegal. According to authentic reports and what the owners have said, the books were History of Hazaraha, Identity of Afghanistan, and some literary and religious books that are now widely used in the country

It has been said by local officials that the books were thrown in water to avoid spreading religious differences among the people of Afghanistan. But this shameful act of Nimroz governor, uluma council and other authorities of this province certainly show their deep prejudice and ignorance. This action is similar to those wicked acts of Taliban regime, like destruction of Bhuda statue in Bamyan province and their order to change faith
This act causes sectarian and ethnical differences, as it has already troubled and annoyed lots of the people in the country. If a book on history of an ethnic is thrown in water or burned, this is a clear enmity to that ethnic and unfortunately it has been repeated in the history of this country in the past

The government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan should ask the concerned officials of Nimroz and punish them for their barbaric and shameful act, for their hatred, bias and prejudice, so that actions of this kind may not happen again in a country where democracy has not taken deep root so far. This act is violating the democratic values of this country and is opposite to the national and international efforts for democratization of Afghanistan

Another tragic incident occurred in Farah Province on 5th May 2009. In this incident more than hundred innocent people were killed and several others injured. Mr. Karzai president of Afghanistan expressed his concern and sorrows, and ordered the concerned authorities to investigate. He also asked the coalition forces not to repeat attacking the civilians. Coalition sources apologized for the murder of the innocent people and expressed their deep sorrows and enough 
I too express my sorrow and grief on death of my fellow citizens and express my sympathy with families of the victims. I reiterate that people should not allow the insurgents to infiltrate in their villages. They should not be permitted to attack the coalition forces from the villages and residential areas. People must fight the terrorist and don’t let them use their villages as places for attacking the national and international forces, otherwise they will be targeted when the insurgents are attacked by national and international forces. There is no way to avoid the murder of innocent people. I am sure if the aerial attacks are carried out by national forces, again the civilians will be harmed and their properties will be damaged, because these incidents occur when the insurgents choose the villages to hide
Some members of the parliament of Afghanistan threatened that if necessary steps are not taken in this regard they will leave the parliament. Their hue and cry on death of civilians is good, but they should be sure that leaving the House of people will not help solve this problem and other problems we have in the country. It is the responsibility of government institutions to create the required coordination between national and international forces in the operation against the terror groups. It must be put at top priority to assure that insurgents should not be given the chance to hide in villages and residential areas. People who have cooperation with insurgents must be severely punished. Those who have sympathy with Taliban fighters and Talibanism should be persecuted and the security agencies of the country must act seriously

دولت جدید ایالات متحده امریکا با اعلام استراتژی جدید در باره مقابله با تروریسم در افغانستان، علاوه بر ایجاد تغییرات در جنگ برضد تروریسم در افغانستان، متعهد شده است تا برای سرکوب تروریست ها در پاکستان، کمک های مالی و نظامی بیشتری در اختیار اسلام آباد قرار دهد. اخیرا در پی عملیات نیروهای پاکستانی برضد طالبان در منطقه قبایلی بونیر، گفتگوهای نیز در سطوح عالی دولت امریکا برای تسریع روند اعطای حدود چهارصد میلیون دالر به دولت پاکستان انجام شده است. باراک اوباما نیز از عملیات اخیر نیروهای پاکستانی علیه طالبان، ستایش کرده است.
اما یک نکته را سران دولت امریکا باید به دقت درک کنند، که مشکل امنیتی در افغانستان با سرازیر کردن میلیون ها دالر به جیب دولت و دولتمردان پاکستانی، حل نخواهد شد. حضور و قوت گرفتن گروپ های مسلح در مناطق قبایلی پاکستان، مسئله بود و نبود دالر نیست، مشکل افغانستان مسئله طالبان و اشخاصی مانند مولوی صوفی محمد، مولوی فضل الله و بیت الله محسود، نیست. مشکل این جا است که این گروپ ها برای چه منافعی ساخته شده اند؟ منابع پاکستانی چرا آنها را ایجاد کرده و همچنان می پرورانند؟ امریکا چرا به اصل قصه نمی پردازد؟؟

جهاد و مقاومت توده های زحمتکش و مستضعف افغانستان در برابر تجاوز ارتش سرخ اتحاد جماهیر شوروی سابق از هر زاویه ای که مورد بحث قرار گیرد، بینظیر و شایان ستایش و قدردانی است. تاریخ افغانستان، مردمی را که انگیزه جز شکست دشمن و نجات دین و کشور نداشتند، و نیل به قدرت، شهرت و ثروت قطعا در ذهن آنها نبود، هرگز فراموش نخواهد کرد. تجاوز قشون شوروی سابق بدون شک باعث شد که افغانستان به میدان نبرد حق و باطل بدل شود و در نتیجه میلیون ها فرزند این سرزمین کشته، مجروح، آواره و بی خانمان شوند. خاطرات تلخ و دردناک که مردم از آن روزها دارد، فراموش نشدنی است. حتی اگر از ذهن ما پاک شود، حافظه تاریخ آن را از یاد نخواهد برد. طوریکه تجلیل از رشادت و قهرمانی های مجاهدین راستین و سربازان فداکار وطن نمی تواند حق و دین واقعی آنها را ادا کند، تجلیل نکردن نیز به پاکی جهاد، خلوص فداکاری و عشق سرشار آنها به وطن، نیز خدشه وارد نخواهد کرد. قطع نظر از هرگونه مداخله دیگران در جهاد مردم افغانستان برضد تجاوزگران، صفای نیت و خلوص اراده مردم افغانستان در دفاع از این کشور همچون ستاره های آسمان زلال است، و عظمت و بزرگی آن را آسمان و زمین ندارد. جوانانی که برای حفظ وطن، حیثیت و عزت آن، دل از زندگی این دنیا کندند و با جاری کردن سیلاب خون شان، هجوم متجاوزین را سد کردند، فقط بهشت جاویدان الهی می تواند پاداش آنها باشد. نوشته، شعر و سرود، منارها و گردهمایی های یادبود خالی از فایده نیست، اما حق واقعی شهدا را نمی تواند ادا نماید.
